Route information
The marathon promises participants a scenic tour of the wonderful Dallas. The route will begin and end in Downtown and will highlight the best areas of the city. Along the way, runners will run through iconic neighborhoods being supported by an electric crowd with on-course entertainment giving the athletes all the motivation needed to reach their goals. The route finishes at the Dallas City Hall Plaza.

Race Packet
All participants are required to collect their race packet from Kay Bailey Hutchinson Dallas Convention Center – Hall A
650 S. Griffin St., Dallas, TX 75202. Opening times are as follows: Friday, December 13th – 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 14th – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please bring a valid form of ID for collection.
Gear Check
Gear check will be available for all BMW Dallas Marathon Festival participants on both Saturday and Sunday. Runners will ONLY be allowed to deposit the provided, clear plastic participant bags at the gear check area starting at 6:30 a.m. on race morning. There will be no advance Gear Check. The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival will issue the race-approved bags during packet pickup at the Health & Fitness Expo.
Time Limit
Due to the re-opening of the closed roads used for this event, participants must adhere to a strict time limit. For the marathon, athletes must adhere to a pace of 14 minutes 50 seconds per mile, equating to a 6-hour 30-minute marathon finish time. The time limit for the half-marathon is 4 hours, equating to a 18-minute per mile pace. Event staff will be picking up course equipment gradually throughout the day as roads re-open, following the same course as the athletes, at the dedicated minimum pace.
Aid Stations
There will be 17 aid stations along the BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and 50K Ultra Marathon course. All stations will provide water and Gatorade Endurance Formula to runners.
