2nd Annual DK Movement Cares 5K Run/Walk

Join us for the most exciting event of the year - the DK Movement Cares 5K Run/Walk! 🎉 We've made some incredible improvements based on your feedback to make this year's event even more extraordinary. The biggest change? Our race course is now officially certified! 🏅 But that's not all! When you participate, you'll be running for a cause and have the chance to win some generous cash prizes! 💰 We'll be awarding $300 and a medal to the first-place winners, $150 and a medal to the second-place winners, and $75 and a medal to the third-place winners, for both overall male and female participants. 🥇🥈🥉 Here are the key details you need to know: 📅 Date: August 24, 2024 ⏰ Time: Registration and Check-in from 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, Race Start at 9:00 AM 📍 Venue: The Bridge Community Church, 43 School Street, Bristol, CT. Every participant will receive a participation medal, and the first 200 registrants will get an upgraded t-shirt and a special swag bag. 🎁 And get this - we've introduced new group categories for even more fun competition! You can now join the Running Club vs. Running Club category, or go traditional with Team vs. Team, School vs. School, or Gym vs. Gym. Winners in each group will receive a group trophy, and the winning school will earn a perpetual trophy for future bragging rights. Plus, there's a thrilling hill competition called "King and Queen of the Hill" where the top 15 finishers will have a chance to win $100 and a plaque. 🏆 Age-group medals are also up for grabs!
