2nd Annual Evansville Zombie 5K Run/Walk

Zombies have invaded Evansville! Get ready for the epic Evansville Zombie 5k Run & Walk, our first annual event that promises heart-pounding excitement and adrenaline-fueled fun. Mark your calendars for November 5th, because that's when the action begins. The race kicks off at 4pm, but make sure to arrive early at 3pm for registration. After the race, we'll keep the Halloween spirit alive with a fantastic after-party at 4:45pm. We'll start at Wesselman Park and make our way to the Red Cross outpost, before returning to headquarters. The route takes you through a park infested with zombies – you'll need all your wits and survival skills to make it out alive! But it doesn't end there. Stick around for our Halloween Festival at Wesselman Park, where the thrills continue. Join a paranormal investigation team and hear their spine-tingling ghostly experiences. Discover what the future has in store for you with a psychic reading. Hop on the Party Time Peddlers, a pedal-powered vehicle that combines fitness and fun. If you're feeling brave, venture into the haunted trail walk. And of course, indulge in some delicious Halloween treats! We're proud to announce our partnership with the Red Cross for this event. Show your support by giving blood on October 19th, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards Wesselman Woods. For the runners, your registration includes a race shirt, water stops throughout the course, post-race snacks and water, and access to the Wesselman Woods Post-race Halloween party. Make sure to pick up your race packet at Velocity Fitness on October 28th between 1pm-4pm. And for all the zombies out there, you can register as a group to represent a business. Join us at 2pm for registration, and zombie teams will start at 3pm. A quick disclaimer: Get ready to get messy! Remember to wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirtied up.
