The streets of Miami are open to runners, but it’s the spectators that will help them get to the finish line. From start to finish, there are excellent opportunities to catch loved ones and friends running in the 305 Half Marathon & 5K.

Our road races are made for the people and run by the people. We take pride in working with some of the greatest individual and volunteer groups in the world. Whether you are a veteran volunteer for our races, involved in the local race community or new to athletic events, we will be sure to provide you with a world-class experience. Volunteering is one of the best ways to give back to the community and have a fun time with friends, family and coworkers by serving others and making new friends along the way.

Aid stations
There will be 11 aid stations with water and sports drinks along the course and at the start and finish line. All aid stations on the course will have the personnel and portable toilets located nearby.

Gatorade Endurance is proud to be the Official Sports Drink and Energy Gel of the 305 Half Marathon, hydrating athletes on race day. Lemon-Lime Gatorade Endurance Formula will be available on course at all aid stations. Endurance Formula has nearly two times the sodium and three times the potassium of traditional Gatorade.  It contains no artificial flavors and has a light taste.  Gatorade Endurance Gel provides 20g of carb energy, natural flavors, and light texture and taste.  Take it just before, or on course, and chase with water.  Available on race day in Blackberry, Apple, Pear or Vanilla.

Medical support
Medical support during the 305 Half Marathon will be provided by health care professionals. Medical assistance will be available at each water station along the route providing medical assistance as needed. A fully-equipped medical facility will be located near the finish line.

Participants requiring medical assistance may be transported to one of the nearby hospitals and will be billed by the hospital and ambulance provider. Participants must give on-scene medical personnel the freedom to determine which facility will be utilized.

Portable toilets
A large number of portable toilets will be available at the start and finish area and along the course near every aid station. Please DO NOT relieve yourself on either private or public property along the course.

SAG wagon and back of the pack crew
The back of the pack crew and SAG wagon will signify the end of the field and the maximum 16 minutes per mile pace. They will not start timing until the last person crosses the start line and will be with you throughout the race. If you cannot maintain a 16-minute mile pace, you will be required to board the support buses.
