Public Transportation in Philly
One of the great things about city races is public transit. We strongly encourage the use of SEPTA, Uber, Lift, Bikeshare and other forms of public transportation - especially if you plan on consuming beer.

- Brewery Lot: 50 spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Most are within the fenced lot behind the brewery on 5th St.
- Target Lot: Several spaces in the Target store lot are designated for Yards using paint. Make sure you choose these because Target will tow.
- On-street: On Sunday mornings, there is ample parking around the brewery - especially on 6th Street. Read the signs carefully because some blocks do not enforce on Sundays and others do. Philadelphia signs are notorious for being inconsistent.
- Pay Lots: Parking is available in various paid lots. There are 4 lots within 5 blocks of the brewery on Spring Garden or Callowhill near Delaware Ave/Front St.,

What makes the Great American Brewery Runs so great?
Four reasons: the beer, the swag, the charities, and the professionalism.
Will the race be timed?
All races in the Great American Brewery Runs Series utilize the most accurate bib chip timing systems. Can I run with a baby stroller/dog/
squirrel?
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every runner, GABR races are only for runners and walkers. Strollers and pets are not permitted.
Is the post-race party family friendly?
Yes!! Bring your family, neighbours, co-workers and friends: post race after parties are free and open to everyone.
Will the race and post-race events be held rain or shine?
Races and post-race events are held in rain, sunshine or snow.
Is there a time limit on completion?
Since we are closing a major road, the police ask that everyone be able to complete 16 minute miles or faster.
Are there water stations along GABR courses?
There is at least one water stop at each GABR race (sometimes more, as indicated on individual race pages) at around mile 2. At packet pickup, can I collect the race bibs, glasses, etc. for my teammates,
family or friends?
A: Yes, and we encourage it because it makes race day packet pickup easier and more enjoyable! Please be sure to bring a copy of photo ID or note from other runners and their bib numbers, if possible. Then make them buy you a beer on Sunday for the favor.
