Route information
Starting and finishing at the USS Hornet and Sea, Air and Space Museum the Alameda Running Festival will have you inspired by the dedication of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The waterside route makes for stunning views of the Alameda seafront and keeps runners cool with a fresh sea breeze.
After the race, join your fellow runners in a cold beer, soft drink, and make a day of it by getting involved with the music or family activities.

There will be parking at the event, and entrants are asked to please use Willie Stargell Ave to enter and exit Alameda Point. Take Midway or Tower ave to Monarch St.
Road Closures
There will be a number of road closures in place between 6am and 9:30am on event day. These are listed below:
- Central Ave from Pacific to McCay: Southbound Lane closed
- Shoreline from Otis to Broadway: Southbound Lane closed
- McCay and Crab Cove parking: limited use, expect delays
- Encinal Boat Ramp: open, use northbound Central Ave, expect delays
- Crown Beach Memorial @ Otis: open, expect delays
Closures are temporary and ONLY local traffic will be allowed to access homes, driveway, businesses along the route
Event day logistics
Friday
12pm - 7pm Shirt and bib pick-up at Corica Park Bay Farm
Saturday
7am 10 Miler starts
7:30am 2-Person Relay starts
Please make sure you arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your race to give you enough time to get parked, registered and warmed up before the start of your event.
Packet Pick-up
Race packets must be picked up the day before the event at Corica Park Bay Farm, 1 Clubhouse Memorial Road, Alameda between 12pm and 7pm. Packets cannot be picked up on race day.
Cut-off Time
Runners have 2.5 hours to complete the 10 Mile course.
Water Stops
The Alameda 10 Miler is a cup-less race, but there will be water available at the start area, and self-service refill stations that can be accessed at Mile 3 and 7 along the course.
Wheelchair Entrants
Wheelchair entrants are permitted but due to safety concerns, you cannot travel faster than the fastest runner.
Strollers
Jogging strollers are permitted but you are asked to start at the back of the pack.
Spectator Info
The spectacular setting of USS Hornet and The Sea, Air and Space Museum makes for an awesome racing atmosphere and the perfect place for spectators to cheer from.

Can I bring my dog to the Alameda 10 Miler?
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted along the course or at the finish line.
Can I walk part of the course at the Alameda 10 Miler?
Of course! Participants can walk, run, or jog the course as long as they complete the course within 2.5 hours.
Can I run the Alameda 10 Miler with a stroller?
Strollers are permitted, but it is asked that those running with one start at the back of the race.
