If you complete the Double-Up, you'll receive a special reward as a badge of honor. But if you prefer to stick with either the 5K or the 10K, don't worry, we've got some awesome rewards for you too. Root beer floats, anyone? The Alaska Distance Classic kicks off at APU - a perfect location to begin your running adventure. Feeling up for a 10K? Go for it! But if you'd rather start with a 5K, that's totally fine too. And for those who want to push their limits, sign up for the Double-Up and challenge yourself to run both distances. Trust me, the sense of achievement will be glorious! The 5K race will begin 45 minutes before the 10K. So, if you're planning to double up, you'll have that extra time to finish the 5K and get ready at the starting line for the 10K. It's an amazing opportunity to experience the beautiful woods that surround the University of Alaska and Alaska Pacific University campuses.
