Route information
Starting shin-deep in the water, you will then swim out towards Donner Lake around the large marked buoys, before returning to the beach. The half-mile and 1.2 mile courses will take two left turns and head back towards the finish. Whereas, the 2.4 mile course will follow the same route before a quick beach run to start the second lap. The water temperature will be in the mid 60's so it is completely optional for you to wear wetsuits.
