New this year
New for this year is a sit down lunch served under the big white tent. We will have tables and chairs to accommodate 300 riders at one time. Please be considerate and do not linger too long to allow other riders to enjoy their lunch.
Don’t Miss the Train!!
Remember to keep your bike rolling at a steady pace of 15 MPH average to arrive in San Diego by 3:00 P.M. This pace is based on departing Irvine no later than 6:30 A.M., stopping 15 minutes at each rest stop. If you fall behind schedule, request SAG support to the next rest stop or risk missing the train.
Ride-a-Longs Jeopardize the Amtrak Century
Please do not allow other riders to tag along without being registered for this event. Even if they don’t use our rest stops and porta-potties, they add to the congestion on the road and this puts our permits in jeopardy. (Our rider numbers are limited by police departments and cities we ride through.) Thank you for your cooperation.
Finish line festivites
The finish line festivities will also include music, a burrito bar lunch by Bristol Farms, soft drinks and more. The journey home to Irvine will be in chartered luxury buses.
Spectator Info
Friends and Family can support at the start and finish line.
