About
Around the Fort Sprint Triathlon will be held on the grounds for the Fort Meade Installation. To participate you must have Gate access by means of a DOD CAC ID card or know someone that does and will bring you on the installation in their vehicle. If you are willing to provide your full name, full ssn, date of birth, license number and state, the event Director will submit your information for clearance to the installation. Around the Fort Triathlon is a sprint race designed for all levels; beginners to seasoned triathletes. The event features a 300 swim, 12 mile bike, and 5K run!

Get full directionsEnter back parking lot of Gaffney Fitness Center from Taylor Avenue. You may also park along the track on York Road. The front lot at Gaffney will be closed for the event.

6:00 am - 7:15 am : Sign-In, even if you picked up your packet on Friday, you still need to check in.Packet Pickup and Transition Area opens. Location: Registration, located at Gaffney
6:15 am - 7:30 am: Pool is open for those who wish to warm up
7:15 am: Packet Pickup Closes
7:30 am: Pre-Race meeting and final instructions
7:30 am: TRANSITION AREA CLOSES
7:45 am: Begin lining up on the pool deck, in numerical order, by bib number
8:00 am - Triathlon begins
