About
Established in 1958, the Atlantic City Marathon is the third oldest continuing marathon in the United States. The marathon course is noted for being fast and flat, including eight miles of oceanfront Boardwalk running! Each race weekend, Atlantic City hosts four race distances including the 26.2 mile marathon and 13.1 mile half marathon on Sunday and a 10K and 5K on Saturday. Runners from throughout the United States as well as several countries internationally are represented.

Taking runners on a tour of Absecon Island, the Atlantic City Marathon & Half Marathon cover ground in the cities of Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate and Longport. From Boardwalk Casinos to the Marina District and sleepy beach towns, the course offers something for every runner.

**$5 self parking will be offered to runners at Bally's and Caesars. Runners will be issued a parking pass with their race bib that will reduce parking to $5 upon exiting the parking garage. Parking garage fees can be as high as $25 so please do not forget to pick up your parking pass at the Expo!

Is the event walker friendly?
The 5K and 10K are walker friendly. The Half Marathon Course will be open for 3 hours and 30 minutes (16 Min Per Mile) and the Marathon Course will be open for 6 hours and 30 minutes (14.88 Min Per Mile).
Will there be any refreshments at the event?
Yes, there will be Honey Stinger energy gels and hydration drinks offered at some water stations. There will be a variety of flavors offered, not just one particular flavor.
Can a friend pick up my race pack for me?
Yes, you may pick up for a friend or relative with a copy of their photo ID.
