Route information
The start will be at the underpass where Bull Creek Flats Road meets Hwy 101 and the Avenue of the Giants.
The course is an out and back entirely on paved roads. The roads are lined with 300 feet tall old growth Redwood trees. While these provide shade and keep temperatures cool all morning, please note that they sometimes block out GPS signal on running watches.
Course is on a paved road the winds gently up hill but is mostly a flat, fast destination race. With little to distract you, the tall trees inspire the athlete in each of us to be strong.

FAQs
Is there a cut-off time for any of the races?
Yes! The cut off time for the marathon is 7 hours, 6 hours for the half, and 3 hours for the 10k.
Can I run with my dog?
No, Dogs kept on leashes at all times are welcome at the race staging area, but for the safety on runners, not on the course.
Can I wear headphones throughout the race?
Because the course isn't completely closed to vehicle traffic, the use of any listening device is strongly discouraged. If you choose to use such a device, you will not be eligible for any awards.
