Route information
Reach into the depths of your closet and pull out your most legendary lycra for this Awesome 80's Run. With either a 5k or a 10k to choose from, runners will be able to race around the fast and flat course, sped on by groovy 80's tunes and the thought of the buzzing finisher's festival at the end.
The course will begin in ShoreLine Aquatic Park, take a loop around the park before heading out along the pier and back again. The 10k course will do the same section, but tacks on a long flat section along Junipero beach to reward runners will beautiful ocean views.
The course is chip-timed so the event provides a perfect opportunity to smash that PB in a truly funky fashion, or just enjoy the sunshine and walk, run, or boogie your way around the course.

Is there an age limit for this event?
No, people of all ages can participate. You can even run with a stroller and children under the age of 3 do not need to register for the race.
Are dogs welcome at the event?
Yes, please bring your canine companions along but please remember to keep them on the leash and pick up after them.
Something came up and I can no longer make the race, what are my options?
No worries, you can transfer your bib to another runner - see event website for more details. Please note that all entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Is there a time limit for this event?
No, take as long as you want, this event is all about having fun and grooving to some great tunes.
