B-Town Turkey Trot

Get ready for a fantastic event coming up on Thanksgiving morning! It's a 5K Run/Walk along Bloomington's B-Line Trail through Switchyard Park, and it's all about bringing neighbors, friends, and families together for a fun and active experience. To make sure you don't miss out on anything, be sure to register by November 2, 2023. By doing so, you're guaranteed to receive a long-sleeved race t-shirt. If you register after that date, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at packet pickup. We've partnered with Above and Beyond Timing to provide accurate timing for the event, so you can track your progress and see how you did. Now, let's talk about the logistics. On November 22, 2023, there will be a pre-race packet pick up at "The Warehouse" from 9-11am and 4-6pm. It's located at 1525 S. Rogers St., Bloomington, IN 47403. If you register after 5pm on that day, you can pick up your race bib on race day between 7:00-7:30am at Switchyard Park. Race day, November 23, 2023, will be held at Switchyard Park's Main Pavilion. It's going to be a day full of energy! Here's the schedule: parking and race day registration open at 7:00am, followed by music and warm-up time at 8:00am. Then, at 8:30am, the race begins at Switchyard Park's Main Pavilion. After the race, we'll celebrate with awards at the DJ Booth at 9:15am. And to top it off, there's even a special event called the "Drumstick Dash" for parents and little ones at 9:30am. In case you're wondering, you can find the race headquarters and packet pick up at "The Warehouse." We've made sure that strollers are welcome too because we want everyone to be able to participate. By registering for the race, your fees cover all the things that make this event spectacular. You'll receive a race t-shirt (if registered before November 2, 2023), and we have a DJ, photographer, snacks, law enforcement presence, a professional timer, and race bibs to enhance the experience.
