The Bass Pro Marathon Weekend has great races, great courses and first class amenities. Our World Class Exposition will showcase over 40 Vendors. The Bass Pro Conservation Marathon is a great race for marathon veterans or first-time competitors looking for an event with a great course and first class amenities. Runners and walkers from all around Missouri and the world will participate in the Bass Pro Conservation Marathon. This event is a Boston qualifier. The Cohick Half-Marathon is flat and fast as well. Runners in the half will run through the parking lot of Mother's Brewery, an added opportunity, close to mile five. Conservation Marathon Relay runners will split the marathon distance into 10K, 5K, 10K, 5K and 12K legs. The relay exchange points are fun places for participants to wait for their turn to run.

These beautiful routes will lead runners through neighborhoods, downtown Springfield and historic Route 66! All courses have some gently rolling hills, just enough movement to keep the routes interesting, while still allowing runners to obtain PRs.

The fall colors are at their best during this weekend, and our tree-lined routes have helped us become the most beautiful marathon in Missouri as described by

Logistics and schedule

Runners should be on the Bass Pro campus by 6:30 AM on race day. The Conservation Marathon, Cohick Half Marathon and Conservation Marathon Relay will all start at 7 AM while the 5K will begin at 7:15 AM. Races start at the Grand Entrance of our Bass Pro Store on Sunshine and Campbell and finish on Sunshine Street, in front of the John A. and Genny Morris Conservation Center.

We offer a non-denominational service at 6:15 AM on race day in the Sportsman's Lodge, part of the John A. and Genny Morris Conservation Center. All are welcome.
