We're excited to be back at Washington Crossing park, and this time we have something special for the kids too. The race is going to be held on the NJ side, near the camp sites, so you'll get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you compete. Here's the deal: You'll be competing in groups of 4 riders on a thrilling 2-mile loop. This loop is a mix of open fields, exciting single track sections, and even a climb. And don't worry, if you're not an experienced mountain biker, that's totally fine! This race is open to everyone, so don't hesitate to join in on the fun. Now, let's talk about the Kids course. It's going to be a fantastic 1-mile ride exclusively on fields. Kids, get ready to show off your skills and have a blast on this specially designed course just for you! But wait, there's more! This year, we're introducing a new addition to the event - the long course prelude. Before the main race, you'll have the chance to tackle a 5-mile course that takes you deeper into the park, even reaching the horse trails. This longer course will have some cool technical sections and a fast-paced gravel stretch that will get your adrenaline pumping. And here's a bonus for all you thrill-seekers: during the prelude long course, you'll get the unique opportunity to ride almost the entire 2-mile loop in reverse. Talk about adding some extra excitement to the event! Remember, you can ride the courses multiple times to post your best time. The top 4 times will then enter the championship heat, where we'll determine the overall top 3 male and female participants. So, give it your all and go for gold!
