Route information
The 5k course is a loop that encompasses both sides of the San Francisquito Creek Trail between Copper Hill Drive and Decoro Drive. The 10k course will complete 2-laps of the 5k course.
The 5k loop distance comes in just over 5k at 5.1 kilometers or 3.17 miles. The 10k will come in at 10.2 kilometers or 6.34 miles.
About halfway through the course will be a water station where you can get water or electrolytes to help you hydrate and give you a boost to finish

Street
There are several neighborhood streets around and nearby the park with street parking available including Rio Norte Dr, Parkside Dr, Vista Del Rio Dr, and Camino Del Arte Dr. Parking on either side of these streets in the designated areas. Do not blocking any driveways.
School
The largest parking lot space available at Rio Norte School parking lot. Once full, the lot will be closed. (Rio Norte Junior High School)
West Creek Park
The West Creek Park has a small parking lot along with several street parking spaces that go around the park on Village Circle.

There are bathrooms in the park by the race festival. There are no toilets on the course.
Will there be bag check for the Be The Light Event?
There will be a bag check available at the start/finish line so you can quickly access your bag after finishing the event.
Are strollers and wheelchairs accessible for the Be The Light Event?
The course is paved and is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. Unauthorized bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, or motorized vehicles are not permitted on the race course due to safety concerns.
