Route information
The Beach Dash has 4 different events all taking place in Santa Monica. Starting at Ocean Park, Santa Monica, all events follow alongside Ocean Front Walk beside the coast.
The 5k, 10k, and 15k courses all follow the same route, turning around just before Johnathan Club, and returning to the start line. The 5k completes this loop once, the 10k does it twice, and the 15k does it three times.
The Half Marathon follows a slightly longer course, continuing on Will Rogers State Beach South Volleyball Courts before turning around and returning to the start line, to make a 4.35 mile loop. The route does this loop three times in total to make a Half Marathon.

Meters on the street are free until 9:00 am. After 9:00 am, you are responsible to pay for the parking meter with quarters, or credit cards. Please check the signs on the meters to indicate where there is no parking on from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. The beach parking lot has an all-day flat fee that can be paid through machine, or when the booth is open. The price varies from $8-12 depending on the season.
