Did the race in 2019
This was a race to benefit ending Alzheimer's. All proceeds raised go directly to the organization. Race day conditions were SUPER muggy and humid. They had plenty of booths, sponsors with fruit, water, beer, food, etc. Typical run day extra's. They had a local band performing during the run and the after party. There was a snag however, everyone ran the wrong course. The 10K people were shorted distance, the 5K people ended up running more than a 5k, some ended up with 4 miles. They provided course maps prior to the run, and their turn around was located on the actual course, not the course that all the runners followed the person in front of them going to. Still gave 5 stars for the party, the cause, and the fact that this was a fun run. The course was flat, and fast. I have already signed up for next year.
