The Belmont Water Dog Run is a community run that supports awareness and increases funding for local education. Beneficiaries of the event are the Belmont Redwood Shores School District and the Carlmont Academic Foundation. Starting at the Historic Ralston Hall Mansion on the pristine grounds of Notre Dame de Namur University, this community event will take runners and walkers through the streets of Belmont, California. The 10k distance will lead runners and walkers on and out and back course where the beauty of Water Dog Lake and the surrounding hills of the canyon will provide a beautiful backdrop for the event. All athletes will finish in the charming and hidden gem of Belmont's, Twin Pines Park. The one mile kids' run and the one mile Fido [dog] run, two separate events, will be the perfect distance for those with littler legs or furry ones.

Race Day parking will be available on Notre Dame de Namur University campus, sponsor and host of the 5k and 10k event start of the Belmont Water Dog Run. Please Note that we are a guest on this property. NO DOGS are allowed on the NDNU property. Participants for the 5k, 10k and kids' 1 mile event may park on this property. Please follow the instructions of NDNU Public Safety and park where they instruct you to eliminate "satellite" roaming for spaces.
