Probably my favorite race of series. When they say this race (and series) is put on by runners for runners, they mean it. What other race for one price do you get, all you can eat from Outback, all you can drink beer, bloody marys, and hard sparkling water. Not to mention the course was fully supported with well-maintained roads, well marked and plenty of aid stations. The race environment is competitive and fun with the runner experience being the number `1 priority for Best Damn Events. You will never be disappointed running in any of this series of races.… read more

A great race, in a great place. The post-race food, vendors and award area events are fun, well organized and worth the price alone.

I've done this race 3 years in a row but this was my first time running the 10k on this course. The course is very nice with good scenery. I think it organized very well and the after festivities were awesome.

This is my 3rd year running the half marathon and every year I get better. I finished 13 minutes faster then last year. I love that the course has some suttle hills thrown in and the course isn't crammed.

Good scenery and race except for the post race food...pizza/donuts/rolls/brownies are not quite appetizing . How about some nuts/fruits/protein drinks or bars or some chicken/fish and some veggies;maybe some good carbs .

The course was tough because of the hills and wind on the last 3 miles. Overall I would say it is a good course, but could be improved if the course went further north at the beginning, through the park (following the half marathon route) rather than the out and back along the water, which was very windy at the end of the race, and is likely to be that way every year since it is right by the water.

Loved the course. Race was very well organized. And there is tons of booze at the end! However, crowd support was pretty lame. Overall I would dont again!

Race director Nick Z always puts on great races, the race lives up to its name. Course is fairly flat but definitely has a few rolling hills on the 10k. 2nd half of the race is tougher than the first half.

I have ran BDR Orlando the last2 years (plus next month) and really enjoy all the extras. The free photos, good food (although it has been slipping) and the awesome medals. This race I really enjoyed the instant tickets showing my times. I taped it to the back of my race bib for memorabilia. I would have liked the bag check closer to the start line so I could last-minute check my warm clothing and be able to retrieve it after the race. But overall, I really enjoy the BDR races. As good as Disney and Rock and Roll events. Plus I really enjoy the COTTON T-shirts. I have so many tech T-shirts that just go straight into the trash. Keep up the great work!!
