Bloodroot 50K / 8 Mile at Salamonie Lake

Held in the stunning surroundings of Salamonie Lake State Park, this exciting event is the sole early fall 50K race in Northeast Indiana and a must-do for every trail running enthusiast. Whether you're tackling the one-loop 8 mile or pushing your limits in the four-loop 50K, you'll be enveloped by nature's beauty, running through fields, woods, and along lakeside bluffs on the moderately challenging Bloodroot Trail. With both races kicking off at 7:30am from the Lost Bridge East pavilion, you'll have 8 hours to make your mark and earn some well-deserved SWAG, finisher's medals, and possibly an award if you're one of the top finishers. Remember, the journey begins an hour before the start with check-in, and while bib transfers are allowed, there'll be no refunds—so commit, prepare, and see you at the starting line!
