Route information
Terrain: Trail
This winding trail route takes participants through the picturesque Towers and Carey Springs Trails. Runners will tackle steep sections of elevation in the first 5 miles before running through Stout Trail.
Participants will then begin the Soderburg Trail head and follow a downhill section towards the Devil's Backbone open space where they will reach the Indian Summer North and South aid stations.
After continuing down towards the Laughing Horse and Hunter Loops, runners will turn around and head back towards the start/finish area.

Parking
Parking is available at the Inlet Bay Marina.
By Car
Follow the US 287 then turn off at W County Road 38 towards Horsetooth Mountain until Blue Sky Trailhead Parking.

Packet Pickup
Participants can pick up their race packs at Altitude Running, 2531 S Shields Street, Fort Collins, CO, 80526 between 4:00 - 7:00 pm or on race day between 5.30 - 6.45 am.
T-shirts
All runners will receive a custom race T-shirt.
Medal
All runners will receive a bespoke event medal.
Awards
There are awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers in the Under 30's. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and over categories.
Post-race
There will a BBQ after the race ends, come along for delicious food including veggie options.
Aid Stations
There are 3 aid stations on the course, runners should bring their own water bottle as there are no paper cups at the stations. Cut-offs for the stations are as follows:
10:00 am Blue sky aid stations
12.30 pm Indian Summer South outbound
1.45 pm Indian Summer South inbound
UTMB
Those completing the event will be awarded UTMB qualification points.
On-site facilities
There are toilet facilities at the start/finish area which will be passed at miles 1-2 and 8-9.
Drop Bags
Runners can leave drop bags to pick up at mile 9.2.
Post-race entertainment
There will be a post-race BBQ and raffle after the event.
Dogs
Dogs are not permitted on the course with runners.
