Bridging the Gap Bringing Communities Together

Starting from the Riverfront Dr. (at the carousel/bike shop) the 10K, 5K, 1 mile walk begins by heading east along Detroit River Walk, traversing along the entire Riverfront walk extending from the Ambassador Bridge. The International Riverfront encompasses a cruise ship passenger terminal and dock, a marina, a multitude of parks, restaurants, retail shops, skyscrapers, and high rise residential areas along with Cobo Convention/Exhibition Center and Joe Louis Arena. The Marriott at the Renaissance Center and the Hart Plaza are also along the International Riverfront Walk. The course continues along the river providing runners with a view of Canada toward the finish line.
