Route information
Half-Marathon course takes you through Shreveport and Bossier City, across the Texas St. bridge.
5K route takes runners through downtown Shreveport and finishes on Caddo St. in front of the Shreveport Convention Center.
The Kids 1K is a secure .6 mile route that starts and finishes in front of the Shreveport Convention Center.

FREE parking is available at the parking garage connected to the Shreveport Convention Center/Hilton Hotel on Market Street from 4am-1pm on Saturday only. Parking is limited, and we encourage ALL athletes to carpool. There is also paid parking located around downtown at various parking lot facilities.

Road Closures
The only roads closed for the Heroes Run are Caddo St and Edwards St, in front of the Shreveport Convention Center. A number of roads on the race route will be impacted on race morning, with one or two lanes being opened for traffic each way.
