This walker friendly course is mostly flat with plenty of water stations throughout to keep those legs moving! There is also a generous 7 hour time limit for the Full Marathon, so take your time and enjoy the scenery, all levels of fitness are welcome at our events.
Marathon and Half Marathon
The full marathon is 4 loops and the Half Marathon is 2 loops of the course.
You'll start at Village at the park soccer fields and head east onto the Camarillo Bike path. Then you will turn right onto the Camarillo Bike path to the designated turn around point for your race distance, turn around and head north still on the bike path towards Upland road and turn around and back towards the main park entrance to the upper bike path 'LOOP TWO SIGN' and start your second loop. At the end of your last loop you will run through the blue finish chute.
10k Course
Start at Village at the park soccer fields. head east onto the bike path, turn right on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 10k turnaround sign and back along the bike path heading north towards Upland Rd, turn around at Upland road and back to the finish line. Please stay to the right of the bike path at all times
5k Course
Start at Village at the park soccer fields. head east onto the bike path, turn right on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 5k turnaround sign and back along the bike path heading north towards Adolfo Rd turn around at Adolfo road and back to the finish line. Please stay to the right of the bike path at all times.
Weekend warriors / Beginners / walkers:
gYes, very walker friendly course, mostly flat, plenty of water stations, and loads of fun! Generous 7:00 hour time limit for the Full Marathon so take your time and enjoy the scenery, all levels of fitness are welcome at our events. Full marathon is 4 loops of this course.
Middle of the pack runners:
All flat course and a great way to complete your first of many road races. Very spectator friendly and loads of beautiful views along the bike path.
Elite and Advanced runners:
All flat course and perfect for a new PR (personal record). The two loop half marathon course is perfect for your new pr 4 loops for the full marathon

Cut-off time
You have 7 hours to finish the marathon, meaning you must have a minimum speed of around 15 minutes per mile.
Toilets
Portable toilets will be on the course about every 1.5 miles, with additional free standing bathrooms available at the park.
Water Stations
Water and Gatorade will be offered at all refuelling stations. Participants must bring their own cup.
Early Start
'Early Start' is at 6:00am on race day but you have to inform know ahead of time so that the organiser can capture your bib number for the official timing stats. Please note: water stations setup will not be complete until 6:30am so you must provide your own water for the first 30 minutes.
Cup-less Event
Ensure that you have a receptacle with you to refill your water. Alternatively, re-usable cups will be for sale for $2 each at packet pickup and on race day.

Can I pick up race packs for my friends/family for the Camarillo Marathon?
You can pick up a friend or relatives items bring a note from them signed by them that you are picking up their number.
When will my results be posted for the Camarillo Marathon?
Race results will be posted as follows: 5k preliminary results will be posted at 08:30am, 10k preliminary results will be posted at approx. 09:00 am.
Can I pick up my race packet on race day for the Camarillo Marathon?
Yes, you can pick up your race packet on race day, but it is advised that you come early to avoid queues.
