Camarillo Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k & 5k routes

Full and Half Marathon

The race starts at the park soccer fields.

Head east towards the Camarillo Bike path, turn right onto the Camarillo Bike path to the designated turn around point for your race distance, turn around and head north still on the bike path towards Upland rd and turn around and back towards the main park entrance to the upper bike path LOOP TWO SIGN and start your second loop. At the end of your last loop you will run through the blue finish chute.

The full marathon is 4 loops; the half marathon is 2 loops.

10k course

The race starts at the park soccer fields.

Head east onto the bike path, turn right on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 10k turnaround sign and back along the bike path heading north towards Upland Rd. Turn around at Upland road and back to the finish line.

Keep to the right of the bike path at all times .

5k course

The race starts at the park soccer fields.

Head east onto the bike path, turn right on the bike path towards Pleasant Valley Rd, to the 5k turnaround sign and back along the bike path heading north towards Adolfo Rd. Turn around at Adolfo road and back to the finish line.

Keep to the right of the bike path at all times.


Weekend warriors / Beginners / walkers:

Yes, very walker friendly course, mostly flat, plenty of water stations, and loads of fun! Generous 7:00 hour time limit for the Full Marathon so take your time and enjoy the scenery, all levels of fitness are welcome at our events. Full marathon is 4 loops of this course.



Middle of the pack runners:

All flat course and a great way to complete your first of many road races. Very spectator friendly and loads of beautiful views along the bike path.


Elite and Advanced runners:

All flat course and perfect for a new PR (personal record). The two loop half marathon course is perfect for your new pr 4 loops for the full marathon

The start and finish line is in the middle of the park near the sack bar.


Race pack collection

This is where you pick up your race timing chip, race bib number, and race day t-shirt, ask your pre- race questions, and check out the course map.

Time: Saturday before the race 10am -2pm. There will be NO Race Day Registration

FAQs

Can I pick up my race packet on race day?

Yes...you can pick up your race packet on race day, but we advise you to come early!! There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time. We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Saturday before race day instead. Last minute check in on race day begins at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 6:45 a.m.

Can I pick up someone else's race items if they cannot make it out on Saturday?

Yes...you can pick up a friend or relatives items bring a note from them signed by them that you are picking up their number.

If I am not running can I participate by being a volunteer?

YES...Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed! Please visit the Volunteer Info link on this site to get all the information needed on being a volunteer. Students please bring any volunteer hours verification forms you may have from your school.

Will there be port-o-potties along the course?

Yes: Porta Potties will be on the course about every 1.5 miles, free standing bathrooms at the park. Porta a potties are usually one per 150 people according to the experts. We always have one unit per 75 people at the start area. Please get it done early to avoid the lines.

Can I walk the course?

Yes: You have 4 hours to finish this race, that’s about 15 minutes plus per mile. Sooo... walkers are welcome, stroller moms, and walking clubs.

Is the course accurately measured and marked?

Yes: This has been GPS measured several times to make sure we are on the mark. Feel free to check it out on your own watch if you have time prior to the race. There will be mile markers on the course and volunteers at all major turns and water stations.

Any other cool stuff for all the rest of us?

YES of course... All runners receive : a finisher medal, tech shirt, water bottle

Is there a time limit?

Generous 7:00 hour time limit for the Full Marathon so take your time and enjoy the scenery, all levels of fitness are welcome at our events.
