Route information
The 2022 routes begin in Downtown Aurburn heading out to Robie Point and joining the Foresthill Divide loop. Runners will scale tricky hills and take in breathtaking views of Sierra Vistas along the way. There is an aid station at approximately 12k. Runners in the 25k will also run over quaint bridges and historic settlements from California's gold rush period before finishing at Lower Drivers Flat.
The 50k and 100k races continue down to Rucky Chucky under panoramic canopies of oak and pine trees. Runners will then cross the American river and take the WS trail up to the finish line for the 50k. There are a total of 3 aid stations on this route at approximately the 12, 20, and 30k marks.
The 100k race continues up Foresthill Rd and then joins the beautiful WS trail. Participants will run past Devil's Thumb, in a particularly challenging section before slaloming through the infamous river cross at Rucky Chucky. Runners will then pass over creeks before finishing at the China Wall staging area. There are a total of 7 aid stations on this route at the 12, 20, 30, 60, 75, 88, and 90k marks.
This is a truly spectacular event and one for all trail runners, with the 50k and 100k course offering a great challenge to experienced participants.

Directions and Parking
Those traveling by car should follow Route 80 into Auburn and follow directions towards the high street. Parking information will be confirmed closer to the event date.

Packet Pickup:
Runners can collect their race packs on Thursday or Friday between 2:00-6:00pm and 2:00-7:00pm respectively. They can also pick up race packs on the day of the event starting from 4:00am.

25k There is an aid station at approximately 12k.
50k There are a total of 3 aid stations on this route at approximately the 12, 20, and 30k marks.
100k There are a total of 7 aid stations on this route at the 12, 20, 30, 60, 75, 88, and 90k marks.
Shuttles
Shuttles from the finish area at China Wall OHV Staging Area towards the start area at Auburn will be made available. More information on this will be provided in the coming weeks.

Running Stones and Qualification
Participating in the 25k, 50k and 100k will give runners 1, 2 and 3 running stones respectively. Running in the 50k and 100k will qualify runners for the OCC lottery for 2023. This will not qualify runners for the UTMB or CC lottery.
Those running in the 100k will meet the UTMB performance index.
