Join us on Saturday, April 13, 2024, for one of the 50 largest marathons in the US! Our event consistently ranks in the top-25 of marathons to Boston Qualify (according to marathonguide.com). But that's not all - we also have a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a marathon relay! Our event takes place in Carmel, Indiana, which has been voted one of the best small town suburbs in the US. The unique race-day format allows all participants to start and finish together, making it easy to find each other at the end. The marathon and half marathon runners start in the south two lanes, while the 10K and 5K runners start in the north two lanes of City Center Boulevard. After a short distance, the courses turn in opposite directions. You'll find the official start/finish area and all race activities near the Palladium Music Center, at the corner of 3rd Avenue and City Center Drive. And don't worry about parking - it's free! Plus, we have a beer garden and other exciting activities for you to enjoy. Now, you might be wondering, why should you run the Carmel event? Well, let us tell you what our runners have to say. First, our course is one of the flattest in the Midwest during the spring season. No matter your running group, we have a race distance for everyone, from the marathon to the 5K. All races start on Saturday at 8:00 AM for the 10K and 5K, and 8:10 AM for the marathon and half marathon. Our marathon course is even a USATF Certified Boston Qualifier and consistently ranks among the 50 fastest in the US. We provide pacers for both the marathon and half marathon, with the marathon pacers running Boston qualifying times. And did we mention free and easy parking? But that's not all! We offer great fitting, gender-specific shirts that are breathable and lightweight. You'll also receive a custom-designed finisher medal unique to your race distance. After you cross that finish line, head over to the Indiana Spine Group Pancake Village for some delicious pancakes. And don't forget to celebrate your achievements in our official Beer Garden with free beer. Our event is not just great for runners, but for spectators and families too. With the same start and finish location, it's easy for them to cheer you on. And for your hydration needs, we provide water and Gatorade approximately every 1.5 miles throughout the course. For more information about race week details, please visit our website. Remember, any upgrades, downgrades, or transfers must be completed online by Sunday, April 2. After that, any changes can be made at the Fitness Expo on Friday, April 12. Mark your calendar and get ready for an epic sports event. We can't wait to see you in Carmel, Indiana!
