Route information
The 12k course is the shortest looping course of the event, with 1078 ft of elevation. Starting at the Live Oak Campground, the route makes a loop round the park using the Dick Larson Trail, the Star Ridge trail and the Bell Canyon Trail.
The 30k is a larger course around the park, with 2677 ft of elevation. Starting on the same route as the 12k, the course goes out and back to Gun Clun Spur Trail, then rejoins the course and loops back to the start line, where it sets off again, heading out along E Ridge Trail and then back along Bell Canyon Trail to the finish line.
The 50k is the largest course of the event, with 5082 ft of elevation. It is a winding, looping course that may be confusing to navigate, so be sure to look over the course before you run. It initially follows the same route as the 30k, but continues on the path after leaving the start for a second time instead of heading back to the finish. After that, follows along side the CA-74 south to, before heading back north to loop around the N Bell Spur before returning to the finish.
