About this event

The 2019 Clove Run will be held on Saturday, August 17th, and will consist of a 10 mile race, a 5 K race, a 5K Walk, and a 1 mile FAMILY FUN Run. Donations and race registrations help support the race's beneficiary, the CCMS Anchor, a worthy non-profit food pantry in Castleton that assists the area's lowest-income families. Last year's race resulted in a donation of $5,000 to the Anchor. Racers are asked to contribute canned goods for the Anchor. New this year - Both the 5K Run & 10 Mile are USATF Certified. For more information about the 2019 Clove Run, go to 2019 Clove Run Information.

Route description

Choose between two races: our fast and flat 5k through the village of Castleton, or the fan favorite challenging 10 mile course. The 10 miler takes you on a scenic run through the village, out to the greater Schodack area and up the steep hill from which the race gets its name, before a fun finish at the local elementary school. Both courses are USATF certified.
