Very festive local race! Nice shirts, and happy to get snacks and a beer at the finish. Liked the downhill start and the downhill finish.

This is a very well organized event. Ran it with my family and we had a great time! The course is of medium difficulty due to the hills, and adding to the challenge is the high-turnout. It's a little crowded for the first mile or so. But everyone loves this event! A complimentary beer after the race and great meals from the food trucks help to make this perennial race a winner every time. 5 stars!!

The course is in downtown Westminster, starting and finishing in front of the Library. The route is a large loop with just one smaller loop off of Main Street just before the finish. There are a number of hills on the backside of the main loop, and the smaller loop has a decent hill too. So while not a harsh course, it presents a few challenges. The course is blocked off well, and easyily handles the number of runners. There is bottled water provided before and after, along with snacks and bananas afterward. The fire pits at Locust Lane were a nice touch. Also, a variety of vendors were present. There is plenty of free parking, but I would arrive at least 45 minutes before the start.
