The Central Park 5k is one for runners of all abilities, with its fast and flat course perfect for those looking to beat their PB's and recreational runners looking for a less technical run.
The course begins in the middle of Denver's Central Park and winds around its perimeter with runners taking in views of the city and nearby Rocky Mountains. Runners then follow along 1.5 clockwise loops and enter onto a fast, flat section before finishing in a central area of the park. 98% of the course terrain is concrete, with a small 2% section of hard-packed dirt.

From the North
Drive on the I-25 S, and continue until taking exit 5 from I-270 E. Then turn right onto Central Park Boulevard.
From The East
Take the I-70 W and exit 279B for Central Park Boulevard.
From the South
Take the I-25 N and follow to Central Park Boulevard then take exit 279B from I-70 W.
From the West
Take Miners Mesa Road to Co-199, continue until the US-6/Clear Creek Canon Road and take the I-70 E to Central Park Boulevard.

Packet pick-up
Please arrive at 8:00am to pick up your race packet. Early pick-up information will be announced closer to the race date.
Age Requirements
There are no age restrictions for runners.
After-Party
All participants can head to Station Twenty Six to redeem a well-earned free beer token after the race. Make sure to bring your race Bib and ID. Doors open at 11:00am.
Restrooms
There are restrooms within the park for spectators and runners.
Water Stations
There are no water stations on the course, please bring your own water bottle to make sure that you're hydrated before, during and after the event.
Cut-off Time
There is no cut-off time for runners.
Race Day Raffle
Bring five donations (Diapers/Pull-Ups, Wipes and Gift Guards to restaurants/grocery stores) to the 3W tent before you run to enter into the Race Day raffle. Donations are to Bethany Foster Care.
Sneakers4Funds
Please bring any new or worn sneakers to the Race Day, these will be collected and mailed with proceeds going towards Growing Home. Non-Athletic shoes will not be accepted.
Racejoy Tracking
Competitors and Spectators can use the RaceJoy app to track their progress during the event. Spectators can use the send-a-cheer feature to give their friends or family an extra bit of motivation.
Dogs
Dogs can enter into the race but must be kept on leads at all times.
Expo
There will be an Expo at the event between 8:00am and 10:00am.
Spectator Info
Spectators can watch the majority of the race by remaining at the start line. Runners will go past either side of this section before finishing 50 meters from this point.

You can collect Race Packs at 8:00am on the day of the event, make sure to arrive early so that you're well prepared for the 9:00am start.

Yes of course you can, but make sure that your furry friend is kept on a lead throughout the race so that they don't run into any participants.
