There is water along the way in addition to aid stations so dont feel like you need to bring a bottle.

Know there are 2 hills at the end. Im glad the turnaround point and final mile changed this year, making the distance more accurate, but this makes it hard to compare with last year. I didnt know packet pickup would be almost a week before the race until I received an email 4 days after pickup date. It would be nice if this race logged our results with ultrasignup.com. Also, the site used takes forever to load.

There are much better courses in the Chattanooga area than to force the half-marathon runners to run up Battery Place at mile 12.

This was the first half marathon that my wife and I have ever done, and we had a blast. It was great to run familiar routes around or home city and the beautiful riverwalk of Chattanooga.

Bring your own fuel, only water stations, no gel or power aide.

Was a great course and the voluntees / staff were great

I was disappointed that it was o my 4K instead of five. I thought it seemed short and my time was low and sure enough when I checked my gps watch it was exactly 4K. A 5k should be 5k, there is plenty of space to extend the course to add the extra 1k.
