The Chequamegon 40 travels from downtown Hayward, WI over the famed American Birkebeiner Ski Trail and along picturesque trails of varying terrain finishing at the Great Hall in Cable, WI.

Little Loggers is a 15-minute long continuous loop course that allows kids to complete however many laps they want.

Saturday buses will be rolling on a continual basis at the times below: First bus leaves at 8:30 am

6:00 am – 8:00 am Bikes can be dropped off and placed in your assigned gate corral at the Chequamegon 40 start in Hayward.
7:00 am – 9:30 am Chequamegon 40 bib pickup
8:00 am – 9:30 am SHORT & FAT bib pickup

Race Packs
Race pack pick-up will be available between 1:00 pm and 8:00 pm on the Friday. On the Saturday race pack pickup will run as follows:
7:00 am – 9:30 am Chequamegon 40 bib pickup only at Primary School/Hayward
8:00 am – 9:30 am SHORT & FAT bib pickup @ Great Hall 14875 McNaught Rd, Cable, WI.
Cut Off Times
For the safety of our volunteers and our riders, cut-off times have been added to various checkpoints. If you do not make the cut-off time, your number will be pulled and you can choose to be transported via sag vehicle to the finish or ride a short-cut route (after you sign a waiver.) Additionally, any finish time after 6 hours (4:00 pm) will be listed as a DNF.
2:30 pm – Aid Station 3 Lk Helane Rd
3:00 pm – Aid Station 4 Highpoint
4:00 pm – COURSE CUTOFF – all riders must be complete, anyone not complete at this time will be a DNF.
