Route information
All routes start by riding south out of Creston on O'Donovan Road. All riders turn right onto Highway 58, left onto Huer Huero and left onto Parkhill. Shortly after Parkhill turns into Pozo Road is the first rest stop at the Pozo Saloon. Riders continue on Pozo road until the intersection of Highway 58 where everyone turns right onto Highway 58. After a rest stop at the Parkhill Fire Ststion, riders continue on Highway 59 before turning onto Highway 229. Highway 229 begins with a 1.4 mile climb followed by a four mile shaded descent to a three mile open flat run into Creston.
At this point the Half Century riders are done and can head to the post-ride meal. The Century and 80 Mile riders have a rest stop in Creston before heading out for the second loop.
80 Mile riders will climb La Panza before turning left onto Highway 58 and then left at Shell Creek to the rest stop with a spectacular display of flowers if mother nature is kind to us. Riders return to and turn right onto Highway 58 and then right onto O'Donovan and the finish in Creston and the post-ride meal.
Century riders will climb Highway 41 to begin their second loop followed by two great downhill runs on the way to Shandon. After Shandon there are 7 miles of rough pavement out Shell Creek Road that we refer to as our cobblestone section. The remaining section of Shell Creek is smooth and ends at a rest stop with a spectacular display of flowers if mother nature is kind to us. Riders then turn right onto Highway 58 and then right onto O'Donovan on the way to the finish in Creston and the post-ride meal.
