5K Run

Definitely a race to pre-register for. Would not believe the amount of walkers and supporters for a sub 30 degree day.  Event location was great, post party was insanely good and well organized.  Registration and packet pick up was good, not great, just too big of a building to have something like this in, walked in the front door and then down two long hallways to a side room to find day of registration.   Course was so so at best, bendy start through an u marked parking lot and then the last mile or so on a not so well maintained sidewalk on the side of the road.  Course security was ok, but always could use more race wardens.  

The marching band in the beginning was on point. The young lady that sang the national anthem was amazing. Event started on time, was well organized and the after get together was great!! Kudos to Del Tech culinary for the spread...soooooo good. 

This is a great race with a delicious after party. The course is not particularly scenic but the catered after party is totally worth it if you are a chocolate lover.
