The South Bay 10k/5k was designed with you in mind! Be the first to experience the fun and exciting flat course that you can run or walk… When you run the 10K you will have the beautiful San Diego Bay and palm trees right by your side as you round the halfway point on the 10k. Capping off your run will be an after party of music and awards while including local Third Avenue establishments partaking in the festivities. Chula Vista’s Memorial Park is located right at the beginning of Third Avenues downtown district. The South Bay 10K & 5K course is open to Runners and Walkers.

OFFICIAL 10K ROUTE
The course is a flat and fast turnaround route from Memorial Park through Chula Vista, the bay, and back to Memorial Park for awards and relaxation.

Starting at Memorial Park in Downtown Chula Vista, the course heads north on Third Ave. It continues west from Davidson, south on 5th Avenue, then west to F Street. After F Street becomes Lagoon Drive go south on Marina Parkway then west on G Street. Follow it onto the pathway on to Bay Side Park until you hit the halfway turnaround. The course loops back to Third Avenue and finishes at Memorial Park for Awards, Pictures, and enjoying local businesses of Downtown Chula Vista Third Ave.

BEFORE the trolley tracks is the halfway turnaround, follow the course back to Third Avenue to finish at Memorial Park for Awards, Pictures, and enjoying local businesses of Downtown Chula Vista Third Ave.
