City Beer Runs - Standard Deviant Brewing routes

The taps will be flowing and so will the endorphins in this 5 or 10k run through the heart of San Francisco, starting and ending at Standard Deviant Brewery.

Started by 3 like-minded dudes who met in a dark room, this brewery began operations in 2016 with a focus on making great beer, and building a community with it.

After the run, mix and mingle with your fellow craft beer lovers over a local cold brew and be entered in the raffle for your chance to win awesome prizes. Standard Deviant's Kolsch is said to be the best in town.

Raceday Logistics

Schedule:

10:00am: Check In Open
11:00am: 5K and 10K Start
12:00pm: Post Run Social - grab your cold celebratory beer
1:00pm: Raffle time
2:00pm: End of event but you are more than welcome to stay and keep drinking

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the race is scheduled to start to ensure there is plenty of time to complete the registration process.

Spectators

Spectators are more than welcome to join the post-race festivities at the Standard Deviant Brewery and enjoy the awesome atmosphere.

Where did the name Standard Deviant come from?

The 3 founders, Paul, Dave and Mark all have various backgrounds in science, business and brews. Standard Deviant references some math and science and also relates to beer and they try to add their own twist on otherwise standard beers.

What will the prizes be for the raffle?

Prizes for the raffle include Altra shoes, growler fills, City Beer Runs t-shirts, Brewery T-shirts, race entries, Feetures socks, personal training sessions, Goodr sunglasses pint glasses, and many more exciting prizes. Make sure you stick around for your chance to win.

Will anything be posted to me for the City Beer Run?

No, all race materials will be collected at Check-in on the morning of the race.
