More than just a 5k or 10k race, Turkey Trot is a tradition of celebration on Thanksgiving morning. With 100% of the proceeds benefiting Clark County Food Bank, Turkey Trot provides a way for the community to come together and give back on this day of thanks. While all registered racers have the option to track their time via electronic chip, the course is not designed for you to have the fastest race time. Instead, Turkey Trot exists as a celebration of thanks, an opportunity to support the community, and a great way to have fun on a run!

Route information
Located off 117th Street, just west of I-5, the race course travels along portions of the Salmon Creek Trail, beginning and ending at Klineline Pond. The course follows a flat, mostly paved trail that weaves between areas of forest and open meadows. The course is clearly marked with directions and exact mile markers for both the 5k and 10k race. Water stations are found at the start/finish line as well as the 10k turnaround. There is also a First Aid station located at the entrance to the park- on the parking lot side of the bridge.
