Route information
This point-to-point trail run is the perfect way to spend your day, it takes in some of the best that California has to offer. Runners start in Stinson Beach, a popular hideaway for local residents, and follows footpaths all the way to Rodeo Beach. Participants will have non-stop views of the Marin Headlands, Pacific coast and finish with epic panoramas of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Event day logistics
Schedule:
7:00AM - Registration & Packet pickup
8:00AM - 50K and Marathon Start
Please make sure to arrive with at least 45 minutes until the start of your race to give yourself enough time to find parking, get registered and warmed up before taking on this epic adventure.
Spectator Info
Spectators are encouraged to get out to this awesome event and cheer on their friends and family. The more the merrier the atmosphere for participants.

Is there a time limit for the Coastal Trail 50 race?
Yes, there will be a cut-off time of 9 hours for all distances.
What are the aid stations at the Coastal Trail 50 race stocked with?
Stations will have an abundance of fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drinks.
Should I still bring my own water to the Coastal Trail 50 race?
Absolutely, runners are advised to bring at least 20 oz. water between aid stations.
Additionally, in an effort to help the environment Coastal Trail Runs are going cupless and ask that runners bring their own water containers. There will be Hydrapak SpeedCup's on sale for $5 at check-in.
