Cold Weather Youth Running Group!

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us at the Washington-Liberty high school track for an invigorating 8-week running journey starting November 18th! Every Monday at 5:00 PM, we'll embark on easy 2-3 mile runs through neighborhood trails, embracing the chilly embrace of the darker months with a positive stride. Think of this as your weekly fitness promise, culminating in a celebratory informal 5k to finish off with a bang! Whether you're a parent running alongside your child or going solo, Coach Kate will be guiding you at a pleasant pace that encourages chatter and laughter. And here's the kicker – parents run free! It's not about the competition; it's about having fun and staying active. Coach Kate will be there with weekly insights to keep you inspired, and at the end of the program, all young participants will receive a medal and certificate for their awesome efforts.
