Half Marathon

Hey all, I thought the event was great. Beautiful course, and tough. I thought there were plenty of water stations, gels enroute would be nice  Only because Shamrock does it. It looked like there was good support from the community as well. Weather was tough, not your fault. On that note, awesome you had solar blankets and a heated tent in anticipation. Didnt see a lot of water or Gatorade, etc. at the finish. So that might be an idea. All-in-all a lot of fun, Congrats!

Brutal course and even more so with the weather but I love the challenge. It makes you prepare and attack plan.

Communication leading up to the event was good.  Parking and packet pickup race day was good. There needs to be additional facilities available. 6 or so is not enough for upwards of 500 people. An additional source of nutrition, other than water, on course would help. I always bring my own, so that was not an issue. For the cost, though, it was a great run. People will perhaps have an issue with no bananas and whatnot to grab afterward, but given the shirt, bag and medal, it was everything you could ask for given the cost.
