On Thanksgiving Day morning, head over to the SouthPark Mall and choose from a variety of exciting options to participate in. Whether you're up for an 8K Run, a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, or a Tot Trot, there's something for everyone. And did you know that our event boasts the largest road race in North Carolina with over 9,000 participants? It's truly a homecoming for extended families, old classmates, and an opportunity to meet and celebrate with neighbors. Consider it your official kickoff to the holiday season in Charlotte! But that's not all. To make our 35th anniversary event even more special, we've got some amazing upgrades in store for you. Picture yourself wearing a soft cotton tri-blend long-sleeve event T-shirt when you cross the finish line. And speaking of finish lines, every participant in every race, including the little ones in the Harris Teeter Tot Trot, will receive a prestigious finisher's medal. To make registration and packet pick-up more convenient, we're offering multiple opportunities at various locations, including SouthPark and select DICK's Sporting Goods stores. And if you're in the mood for some post-race fun, the Suffolk Punch Brewery will be open from 7am to 11am on race morning, offering a special menu and full bar. We're also stepping up our start line experience with enhancements like a dedicated walkers' corral, an enthusiastic emcee, and local TV coverage by QC News. As you approach the finish line, get ready to feel the energy as the Towne Bank Turn cheer section cheers you on to the final sprint or leisurely walk to the finish. Once you've crossed the finish line, the fun is far from over. Join us at the CPI Security Red Zone Finish Festival for a day of celebration. We'll have the Novant Health Awards Stage, hosted by K104.7's Phil & Mel, where we'll hand out our iconic turkey trophies to overall winners and Richardson brand trucker hats for age group winners. Plus, runners over 21 can enjoy complimentary beer from Suffolk Punch Brewery and Legion Brewery (don't forget to bring your ID!). And if you need a warm treat, Novant Health has you covered with free hot chocolate. But the festivities don't stop there!
