About
Waterman's, Chix and the Shack are challenging all Crush Lovers to push their limits in an all-out, crushin’ good 5K Beach Run. Crush-inspired running gear is strongly encouraged. The course will bring runners down the beach and under the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier, onto the Virginia Beach Boardwalk —finishing with the reward of an Orange Crush and a HUGE after party at Virginia Beach’s favorite outdoor oasis, The Shack.

Route information
We heard that everyone loved getting the sand out of the way first, so we are sticking with the same course for 2019 (subject to change still), but we want you to chase after that PR.
The 3rd Annual CNR will begin on the beach in front of Chix on 7th Street. Everyone will corral on the sand and head through the start line running North. If you are competing for FIRST PLACE, then make sure you are in the very front of the first corral.
You will continue to run until you reach the giant, inflatable Absolut bottle that is set up on 30th Street in the sand. At that point, you can start angling up through the soft sand and up the stairs to the boardwalk at 30th.
You will then run South down the boardwalk, refueling at our water station at 27th and continuing until you cross the finish line at 9th Street. You just CRUSHED 3.1 MILES!

Once you walk through the finishers' shoot, you will exit at 7th, the perfect street for you to either pop in at Chix for a drink or head across Atlantic to the The Shack and grab your free crush you earned to start the official after-party!

What's included
All Crush N' Run 5K finishers will receive a unique finisher’s medal and a finisher’s gift upon completion of the course, along with one free Orange Crush at the after-party (must enter by 1:00pm to receive your free Crush). All participants are invited to enjoy the post-race festivities with live music and entertainment from 10:30am 'til 7pm at The Shack on 8th Street! Please wear your race bib to the post-race party, as that will give you free entry into the event and your bib also contains two perforated tabs - one tab redeemable for your complimentary Orange Crush and another tab that will give one (1) guest free entry into the event.

Get full directionsParking is available throughout the resort area in metered parking spaces, and in the 9th Street Parking Garage at current city rates. Plan on bringing some cash to pay for parking. Nearby parking is likely to fill up early though, so please leave yourself plenty of time in case you have to park far away and walk. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to carpool, ride your bike (bikes can be locked to the boardwalk), Uber or get dropped off to avoid parking headaches - especially if you plan to enjoy the after party after the race!

We advise you to be at the race by 30 minutes prior to the start time of 10:30am. Please allow plenty of time to find parking and get to your corral at the starting line on time.

Headphones and listening devices are allowed on the course. Please be alert and courteous to people and vehicles around you.
Are pets allowed during the race?
No. Pets are not allowed on the course. This is for the safety of our runners as well as an insurance liability.
Are baby joggers allowed during the race?
Due to the sand run portion of this event, baby joggers and strollers are not allowed during the race.
