Route information
Experience the trails of Huddart Park, Kings Mountain and and Bear Gulch, home to beautiful trails with towering redwoods, lush ferns and gorgeous views of the mountain side. The Crystal Spring Trail Run event will have a number of distances ranging from 8k to 50k, so this is the perfect event for runners of any level.
The course will have fully stocked aid stations every 8 - 15km along the route, with plenty of fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink.
In an attempt to go cup-less, the organizers ask that participants bring their own drinking containers to reduce the amount of disposable cups used at the event. There will be Hydrapak SpeedCup available to buy for $5 at check-in.

The Marathon has a time limit of 8.5 hours. There will be a cut off at Bear Gulch Station after 3hrs and 45mins, at 11:45am.
The 50k has a time limit of 8.5 hours. There will be a cut off at Bear Gulch Station after 3hrs and 5mins, at 11:05am.
Aid Stations
There will be aid stations along this course at every mile. They will be fully stocked with fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink. There will be hot soup and pizza in the evening.
This will be a cup-less event in an effort to reduce litter and waste. Please bring your own reusable bottle or cup.
