Part of the “No Way 200k Trail Series!” The Ohio River Road Runners Club is continuing the 50k Trail Series. 200k! No Way!! Finishers will receive a special award for completing all four of the ORRRC 50k’s; Tie Dye, Another Dam, Dawg Gone Long Run, Germantown, and Broken Toe. No need to register for the series, just complete four of the five!
How to enter the Dawg Gone Long Run 50K/50M Trail Race

Dawg Gone Long Run 50K/50M Trail Race routes
This year the course will include East Leg and West Leg (two out and back sections). 50 milers will complete East Leg and West leg twice (East leg-West Leg-East leg-West Leg). 50k will complete shorter version of East Leg, and then West Leg twice (short East Leg- West Leg- West Leg).
50 Mile Course:
East Leg:
Start from Visitor Center and travel over the Dam, follow perimeter trail to intersection with red trail, take red trail to Wellman Meadow then connect to yellow trail again to Pioneer Village (unmanned AS), then to 50 Springs (manned AS), complete 3-mile orange MBT loop and return to 50 Springs (manned AS) and then go back to Visitor Center through Wellman Meadow.
Leg distance about 15 miles
West Leg:
Start from Visitor Center and go towards Day Lodge (unmmaned AS) and through perimeter trail shortcut (avoiding tornado area due to severe trail erosion) to Boat Ramp (manned AS). Turn around and travel back to Visitor Center (through perimeter trail shortcut and Day Lodge).

Repeat East Leg and West Leg

East Leg:

NO MBT/ORANGE TRAIL.
