Deuceman Long Course Triathlon
The DeuceMan is the most challenging race at the Deuces Wild Endurance Festival and is a half-iron distance race covering 70.3 miles. You will swim, bike and run through some of the most beautiful scenery in Arizona and be on a course that will challenge you both physically and mentally.

Deuceman Long Course Aquabike
The Deuces Wild DeuceMan AquaBike follows the exact same swim course and bike course as the DeuceMan Triathlon. Once you cross the timing station at the dismount line heading into T2 you are all done - no run for you! AquaBike finishers will not cross the actual finish line on their bike; however, we encourage you to make your way to the finish line to collect your medal and partake in the post-race activities!

Olympic Distance Triathlon
The Olympic Distance Triathlon at Deuces Wild is comprised of a 1-loop swim course, a 1-loop bike course and a 1-loop run course. If you are looking for a fast, yet challenging course then this race is for you! The bike has a few small rollers and one good climb to keep you honest while the run will take you on a tour around Fool Hollow Lake and the campground area. There are plenty of aid stations to keep you hydrated and fueled!

Known by XTERRA athletes as one of the most exciting races in the XTERRA series, the XTERRA Deuces Wild Triathlon is a race that is great for intermediate racers all the way to professional. With the swim at 6300' and the bike peaking out at 7000', there are plenty of ways to put yourself deep into the hurt locker. Bring your A-Game and get ready to have fun! This race is comprised of an 800m open water swim, 24km mountain bike, and 8km trail run.

Half Marathon
One of the only half marathons in Arizona's White Mountains, this 2-loop course is a great way to get out and enjoy the Fool Hollow State Park! With mixed terrain, including roads and dirt paths, this race will keep you pushing the pace. Aid stations are well stocked at every mile.

10K
If you are looking for a 10k run in the White Mountains of Arizona then you have found the crown jewel! This race takes a scenic route around Fool Hollow Lake via roads and gravel paths. You also get to run through some of the campgrounds where people will be cheering you on. Aid stations are every mile and well stocked.

5K
The 5k run course is completely in the Fool Hollow Lake park and takes athletes along the paved roads and the nicely groomed, scenic trail around Fool Hollow Lake and then into the campgrounds for a tour and lots of encouragement from the campers. From there you will follow the roads back to the start/finish area, where you will get an accurate time with your timing chip. Aid stations are at miles 1 and 2.

XTerra 8K Trail Run
The XTERRA Deuces Wild 8k Trail Run is held at Fool Hollow Lake and follows the same route as the run for the XTERRA Deuces Wild Triathlon. This course offers athletes a mix of hills, and flat terrain.

Volunteers
Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the Deuces Wild Triathlon Festival!

We have an exciting weekend in store for everyone and it would not be possible without the help of our dedicated volunteers. We have many positions available, and we welcome groups. With 15+ events and our festival spanning both Saturday and Sunday we need a small army of over 300 volunteers and staff to make it all work!

We will also need set-up help the Thursday and Friday leading up to the race, registration help on Friday and Saturday, and tear-down/clean-up after each event. Each volunteer will receive a meal ticket for the day they work, a volunteer shirt and a snack bag for their shift, plus lots of thanks from grateful participants as they pass by!

We do make donations to groups and organizations, so sign yours up today!

FAQs
WHERE DO PEOPLE STAY WHEN THEY ARE UP AT YOUR RACE?
Many people camp at the lake (they have full RV hookups and great facilities), stay at one of the many local hotels, or rent cabins.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE VIP PARKING FOR SATURDAY/SUNDAY?
We have a bus that runs every 20 minutes from Show Low High School to the venue. You will park at the high school and ride the bus over. A lot of our racers just ride their bikes over to the race site.

CAN WE PRE-RIDE THE XTERRA COURSE?
Yes! Just be mindful that our course goes through private property and you should avoid these properties while pre-riding. On race day we have special permission from the owners to use their properties.
