Get ready for an amazing event that's all about fun, food, and a little exercise! We hope you're as excited as we are for the upcoming event, where you can run for donuts! Yes, you heard that right, we're offering delicious donuts as an incentive for you to join us bright and early in your cozy pajamas. It's the perfect way to start your day with a tasty twist. This event offers three different options for all fitness levels. You can choose between a timed 10K run, a timed 5K run, or a non-timed 2K run/walk. Whichever option you choose, you'll have the chance to explore the vibrant streets of Crown Point and enjoy the beautiful neighborhoods. But that's not all! When you sign up early, you'll have the chance to receive a special finisher medal. The first 200 participants to register will be proudly wearing these medals as a symbol of their achievement. And for all the adults out there, the first 100 will also receive refreshing mimosas to celebrate their accomplishment. After you've worked up an appetite, there will be plenty of donuts and snacks waiting for you at the finish line. It's the perfect reward for all your hard work. Plus, we have awards for the top overall finishers and the top three finishers in each age group. It's a chance to show off your skills and take home a well-deserved trophy. We also want to give back to our community. By supporting the St. Matthias Food Pantry and Emberly's Smiles, we're making a positive impact on the lives of local families in need. We encourage you to bring nonperishable food items, such as cereal, shampoo, laundry soap, and more, to help contribute to this worthy cause. Now, let's talk about the details. The entry fees are $30 for the 10K, $25 for the 5K, and $20 for the non-timed run/walk for kids 12 and under. But here's the best part - we pay the fees for you! So you can focus on enjoying the event without any extra worries. If you want to grab a cool event shirt, they're available for an additional $15, but make sure to order by January 24th to secure yours. On the day of the event, we'll have early packet pickup starting at 7 am, so you can get all set and ready to go. And let's not forget about the race awards! The top overall male and female finishers will receive special recognition, along with the top three in each 10-year age group. It's a chance to showcase your running skills and earn some well-deserved praise. Just a friendly reminder, once you're registered, we can't offer any refunds due to weather or any other reason. And please note that registration transfers are not allowed after February 1st. Also, make sure to pick up your shirt at the event, as any unclaimed shirts will be available for purchase afterwards.
