Did the race in 2018
This event was not run well at all. The 5k run/walk started first and was the same course as the 8k run. The course was a narrow walking path and there were too many people on the path at one time. The 5k participants were running/walking 3 wide and made it very difficult to navigate around them. And on top of the poor course management, you had to pay extra for your shirt and/or medal. Running both the 5k and 8k on the same course and starting them only 5 min apart was a disaster (at least for serious runners who were competing).

Did the race in 2018
Very well organized. Since we are near the water, it would have been more scenic to run along it if possible. Running out and back the main road is not very exciting. Unfortunately, there were also timing issues, but it was a very wet day. Have a best costume prize. Or the Last Elf prize for slow runners. Would do it again next year.
